It's about Energy

Energy in feelings, experiences, and life aspirations projecting outward that determines aesthetics. It's in the tone of voice, stride in walk, and position of hands when speaking.
Whereas the fashion industry will have you to believe that one can dress an energy that they do not embody and call it personal style. I call that a costume. 

Costume dressing brings visible credibility to a created character. A scripted character. 
Where fashion is now conflated with personal style, and personal style with social media trends- identity lost in the plot. 

I created The Becoming Archetypes™ to be used as a tool of alignment in a personal style journey. 

Just as energy is harmful when stagnant, so too is personal style.  With that in mind, The Becoming Archetypes are a guide to utilize as a starting point (road map) of where you are and who you are, and who you are becoming.
You more than likely identify yourself in one or more. The purpose is to identify where your energy is currently flowing. 
This is not about aesthetics. Free your judgment for any images that represent a fabric, color, or silhouette. Aesthetic judgments are based on social constructs disguised as personal taste. Your personal taste is not relevant in determining your authentic, energetic expressions.  It's your ENERGY!

Based on my work as a ministering personal stylist, I've identified 5 Becoming Archetypes: 

1. The Reclaimer
You are leaving a past life behind that claimed a lot of your energy
- Divorce/long-term breakup
-Empty nesting
-Caregiving
- Leaving corporate 

2. The Architect
You are creating a new visible path
- Career renovation
- Living in a new environment
-Pregnancy/parenthood

3. The Muse
You are emerging after a period of survival or restraint
- Cancer Survivors
- Trauma Survivors
-Gender Affirmation

4. The Sovereign
You are embracing self-trust, expressing autonomy 
-Public visibility 
- Living unconventionally 
- Experiencing unexpected, positive shifts

4. The Alchemist 
You are transforming your pain into wisdom
-Experiencing spiritual awakening 
- Healing trauma artistically  
- World paradigm shift

Who are you Becoming? 

I'm certain you have identified yourself in one or more of these archetypes based on the descriptors. That's the point! The work is creating the aesthetic energy expression that is unique to who you are Becoming.
